· June 18 at 12:22pm · If you are looking for a quiet welcoming atmosphere, "A Country State of Mind " is just that. June, the owner of the property, is beyond welcoming . My husband and I try to get away to the hill country as often as possible and this past trip has to have been the best. June is very attentive and in tune to make your experience in the country the best it can possibly be. Llano itself offers a great historical experience, fun on the river , and its a short drive to other awesome destinations. To sum it up . June made us feel like family !! I will recommend A Country State of Mind to anyone looking for a Hill Country getaway.

· April 9 · My wife and I just returned from a Texas Road Trip seeking small towns, hiking and a true Texas experience. We found it here! A wonderful, modern bed and breakfast in a country setting. Stargazing, fishing, beautiful sunrises from the porch, sunsets at the Llano River, golf cart riding and cows are what greeted us; along with our most gracious, helpful and friendly hostess. We truly felt at home and with family. We will return.

· April 3, 2016 · This place is a little slice of heaven. You are out in the country. It is so quiet and peaceful. You can relax on the front porch or if your feeling more adventurous you can go down to the llano river which about 1/2 mile away. The space is great with an amazing bed. June is an amazing host. It was like seeing a long lost friend. She gives you your privacy but is nearby to answer any questions. We can not wait for our next trip

· April 27, 2016 · My girlfriend and I stayed here during the Llano Crawfish Festival in April and it was absolutely amazing. The cottage is decorated just darling and the surroundings are gorgeous. You can walk down to the river and fish, swim or float from the cabin. She also has a golf cart you can make arrangements to use. Perfect place for kids, couples or girls weekend. Very quiet, peaceful and serene. I am coming back for sure! Well priced:)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and found the accommodations both simply elegant and comfortable. The bed is a dream, and with the quiet surroundings, we slept like the dead. The nearby Llano River landing access was a bonus, as was the small friendly herd of picturesque cattle grazing in a neighboring field. We cannot wait to return!

Harps loved it and Brandon will never forget the river and the fishing trip near by. What a neat job you did! Can't wait for our next stay there

· July 17, 2016 · If anyone loves swimming, fishing, I would advise you to stay here. It's not far from the Llano river and this place is so amazing, you hear nature like God intended it to be. The room is so beautiful and decorated very nicely. If you enjoy a good hamburger Castell is not far from this place. Plus very affordable
